3 Mobile launch broadband wireless router A press release from broadband.co.uk reports that 3 Mobile will launch a mobile broadband wireless router that will allow users of the service to share the connection. Previously sharing broadband was one of the remaining benefits from sticking to fixed line broadband. Leading up to now the USB technology meant that only a single computer could benefit from the mobile broadband technology. If customers wanted to share that had to buy extra contracts and software which meant the cost benefits of going mobile were lost. Wireless broadband has previously been the method for sharing internet connection but the routers involved could not be used with mobile broadband. The new mobile broadband wireless router from 3 Mobile will mean that users will be able to share the connections across a household much in the same way the current fixed line broadband connections do it. It could mean more households and parties could now use mobile broadband, benefiting from the flexibility of mobile broadband and the monetary benefits of not having to pay for an additional fixed landline. It means that the advantages of switching to mobile broadband have just got better. Already included are benefits such as the convenience of using the internet anywhere you want, as long as you are carrying the USB and the modem you do not even need a laptop. The fact that various different technologies are available also means that choice is a major benefit with external dongles, bluetooth and data cards all being viable options. With the added service from 3 Mobile, home users can also benefit much more easily.
